I’ve been caught up in life; mostly work, friends, relationship rehab, and over-indulging in self loathing.
But I’ve returned to get back on the productivity wagon.
I went to the gym an entire week, then sprained my ankle pretty badly. I’m finally able to walk without assistance, so I shall be returning to the gym. I joined NerdFitness’s Academy, which is a live program with other women all working to get in shape.
My scale stopped working, so I took it as a sign to stop obsessing with numbers and actually just focus on performance and the fit of my clothes. I’ve been doing really poorly lately, but as I said, I’m trying to shed the negativity and work toward something better.
I’ve been writing, and I attended a ukulele festival here in Korea. I met some performers from Australia and hawaii, and they seemed happy to meet someone who could speak English. I went away very inspired and have been glued to the uke since.
I haven’t been reading a lot, but it’s mostly due to the fact I’m spending too much time on Facebook, drinking with my friends, or I’m knee deep in writing up a script for a kindergarten presentation. The final draft is due Tuesday, along with report cards, class ranking lists, and a unit test for all 6 classes in my school.
So I’m kinda swamped.
But I will be more regular with my ponderings, writings, and general life updates. I still want to improve. I believe I can.
I have 80 days until I return stateside, and I’m going to arrive as a decent individual.
Thanks for sticking around.
